YWCA San Diego County is a nonprofit organization helping individuals and families break cycles of domestic violence and homelessness. Its services are available to adult and child survivors of all genders. Certified advocates provide crisis counseling, safety planning, emergency protection, and referrals through a 24-hour hotline. The organization offers emergency shelter, interim and transitional housing, and assistance with securing permanent housing. Survivors can also access case management, mental health counseling, legal support, financial education, and help with essential needs. These flexible services allow each person to pursue safety, healing, and stability at a pace appropriate to their circumstances. YWCA San Diego County also works to eliminate racism, empower women, and advance peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all people.
