Anna-Maria is a bright, joyful girl working toward progress most children never have to think about.

She was born with bilateral anophthalmia, a rare condition in which a child is born without eyes, and low muscle tone that affects her movement. With consistent therapy and support, Anna-Maria is building strength, coordination, and everyday skills that can help her move through life with more independence.

Her next intensive rehabilitation program is planned for June–July 2026. It includes daily physical therapy, muscle strengthening, posture work, neuro-speech therapy focused on feeding and swallowing, and mobility training.

What your donation covers

Your support will help fund an intensive rehabilitation program at the Birds of Life Foundation in June and July of 2026.

The program includes:

Daily physical therapy sessions
Muscle strengthening and posture support
Neuro-speech therapy focused on feeding and swallowing
Mobility training and independence development
